The font request
The typefaces arrive from Google’s font service, the way any external file does: your browser asks for the file and receives it. That request is served without planting a cookie here.
How the log files work
The host keeps a routine record of visits — timestamps and requesting addresses — for debugging and abuse defence. That is a server-side record, not a cookie, and it is not used to build a profile of anyone.
